Monteverde

We took a quick day trip to Monteverde this week when my dad was in town.  It's a long (and white knuckle) drive for just a few hours of fun, but it was well worth it and we will be returning very soon, because we had to skip the cheese factory.  Here's what the majority of the drive looked like:


We decided to spend the day at Selvatura since there was so much to do in one place.  We did the hanging bridges, the insect exhibit (mind-boggling, just like the guide book said), the butterfly garden, the hummingbirds, and some rainforest trekking.
