I met up with Masako and Chris at a wine bar in Venice Beach a few months before their wedding and I knew right away their wedding was going to be amazing. They were super cool and had excellent taste and they planned the entire wedding around the food. Gorgeous, intimate, and in one of coolest locations in Costa Rica, this wedding was one of my all time favorites. Shot on a combination of digital and film.

Leigh and Brian's intimate beach wedding was absolutely perfect in every way. They were so excited to get married and their love for each other and their friends and family was infectious.

This stunning, bohemian wedding was such a pleasure to shoot because of the couple's impeccable style, the gorgeous setting, and an atmosphere of pure uninhibited joy. 

Irina and Robb's engagement session in Brooklyn was featured on Brooklyn Bride.

Katrika and Quintin had a lovely, intimate beach wedding under the trees followed by an outdoor reception at the edge of the waves. The light was absolutely gorgeous that day. 

I met Eva and Gary at a wedding in Costa Rica and discovered Gary and I grew up in adjacent towns in New Jersey. My visit back to the east coast the following summer coincided with their wedding so it worked out for me to shoot it, and it was maybe the most fun I have ever had at a wedding.

This is one of my favorite elopements because of how excited and happy Anna Mae and Jeff were just to be marrying each other. It was so simple, yet so beautiful and emotional. 

By sheer coincidence and epic good-timing, Ashley contacted my studio for a recommendation for a photographer in Switzerland to do an engagement shoot the week before I was scheduled to pass through Zurich on a ten-hour layover. Needless to say, the timing worked out and we got to shoot all over the city. It was crazy good fun.

Ann and Mark took me to a few places around Baltimore that had personal significance to their relationship; the art school where they met, the museum where they had their first date, and their favorite diner. It was so much fun.

I spent a gorgeous afternoon with Christine and Andrew tooling around wineries in Sonoma, California and shooting some lovely portraits. Couples and locations like these are why I love what I do.

I've shot so many incredible destination weddings it's really hard to choose favorites but these are some images I'm proud of and think represent my style. These have been shot at weddings over the last four years in Costa Rica, Brazil, the US, Australia, Thailand, and Guatemala. Mostly digital, but a little bit of film, too.
